All I have is my past
At least I already know how to deal with fate
Molded by early thoughts
My next step will reflect my regrets and triumphs
Maybe we should die just a little
and let be deformed what once has formed our deeds
No one will believe when you tell them we
reorganized the stars
Sheltered by the fortress we've built in we
hide inside ready for our moulting
The same old face we have to wear
everyday will fall, at last
Reminding us of what's inside
When we step out of our comfort zone
We might have a chance to see
No one will believe when you tell them we
Reorganized the stars
Sheltered by the fortress we've built in we
hide inside ready for our moulting
Don't hold back anymore
It's time to let the change be done
We're inside waiting for the moulting
Sprout!
Crack the shell!
You've been conceived from light
A being of grace and might
Bid farewell!
Past made us concrete
Present makes us bleed
Future will retrieve
our reasons to believe
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
