Cradles of salvage
Hands that won't ever let you astray
a safe resort to rest your head when it burns
Burns as you secretly hide inside your mind
Burns when you lose control over your life
Burns as you turn your lament into denial
Burns when your world is confined
Deprive from your selfishness
Let them in, let them become aware
Of all the screaming beneath your silent stare
No one ever said you need to win alone
Cradles of salvage
Hands that won't let you sink in dismay
The reason you can lift your head when it burns
Burns when you're under disguise half of your life
Burns when you strain yourself unto divide
Burns as your river goes dry into the sky
Burns when you turn off the lights
Throw your haughtiness aside
Don't let the strings detach
From those
Who heard the screaming beneath your silent stare
No one ever said you need to fight alone
He feels forsaken in a cloud of overloads
I like to sit and see him try
He doesn't take advice
I must've been taken for a fool
For all the times I stood by his side
He underestimated
Now he's compensating for his faults
Burn
First you must burn
To realize
How much you've been blinded by your pride
You're turning to stone
Failing to hold
Losing control
You must let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
