Don't say it too loud
you might regret it
What's deep inside
must be replaced before the sunrise
Who will deny
when they say you've lost your mind?
Step into the train of lies
Come on in, help yourself
'cause this will be your home
not a single soul will come for you
welcome to the colony
Now you must be repaired
Get yourself ready
Strip off your clothes and sit down
Down with your needs and your human condition
Shock therapy makes you calm
Come on in, help yourself
This is their home, this is forever
Better to forget their looks
Blame it all on who the hell you think deserves it
But we've made this possible
When we looked the other way
You've been part of this since you've turned away
A big portrait of famine and decay
It's our fault!
Reverse the roles and you'll find reason
Revert the chaos to find out we are all alike
Regain their right to live in freedom
Renew and turn it inside out
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
